The article aims to present the data on the increase of imprisonment in the state of Rond\u00f4nia between 2007 and 2017. The research that gave origin to the work analyzes data on incarceration and crime in all the country, more specifically in the states of Western Amazonia – Rond\u00f4nia, Acre, Amazonas and Roraima. The objective of this work is to understand the association between increased incarceration and increased crime observed in much of Brazil, especially in the Amazonian states.<\/p>\n
